The vertical members were H-type section. **4.Details of loading [#yabf7cc5] >Fluctuating loads due to wind load. **5.Description of damage [#q344dc6e] >Fatigue cracks occurred in the changing part of the section at both top and bottom ends of the vertical members ([[Fig.1>#fig1]]). The cracks propagated along the flange-web fillet welds of the vertical members and through the web plate of them.
